3.21. The room was way too small; (felt like I was in an Amsterdam Hotel!)
2. The hotel is located on a street which is also the back of a neighbouring 5 star hotel. Therefore, all of the staff from that hotel hangs out on the sidewalk facing the entrance of the hotel -- not a pretty scene.
3. More importantly, that 5 star hotel's utility entrance is right across from the Mayfair hotel, so, you get a lot of early morning delivery trucks coming and going out, making a lot of noise which you can hear from your room facing the street.
4. Season being Mid-may, the weather was still chilly in the evenings; therefore the room was cold. However, the A/C unit was for "cooling only" and the heating system was switched off and did not work. The hotel's solution was to give another blanket.. When you sleep, this solution may be fine; however, if you are just working on your laptop in the room, "putting on a blanket" does not work.
5. Breakfast was poor and expensive. (14 € if you have a croissant + a jelly.. Take a slice of cheese, they treat it as "open buffet" and charge you 20 €.) And the "open buffet", is NOT.. Very poor selection.
