3.7We went to Paris for business and pleasure. Our business was at the Parc de Villette which is a quick 15 minute, two trains journey from the hotel. Metro is about 90 seconds from the door. Plenty of places to eat and the Monoprix store is right at the Metro entrance, great for groceries and left at home necessities. The crepe station, next door, is the BEST in the city! Huge portions and the prices are great! Kabab/Halal restaurant across the street is great for take-away. The city is about 20 minutes by Metro, with a transfer or two. The Louvre is a one train journey for about 20 minutes. The hotel and use of the Metro fit our budget and suited us just fine, we saw all that we wanted and more. Our stay was 5 days and was perfect. Easy access by Metro to CDG. Hotel staff is great, room is European quaint, enough room for two, a third would be tight. Ample bathroom space, modern shower head with a lot of pressure. When we come back, we will definitely stay at Hotel Crimee. Old school doors, but you get use to it. Air conditioning could be colder, but the windows worked just as fine, not a lot of traffic outside. Rooms are clean, nothing fancy. We were only there for shower, sleeping and storage of our stuff. You want foo-foo, you can pay more in the city. Flat screen TV, all stations are in French. Beds were firm, but we were too tired to care.
