Hotel Innova - Paris, France     

We first satyed here in September last year and had a great time. So when we deicded to visit Paris again there was no hesitation to book once more. The hotel is in a fantastic location with a Metro just yards from the door. This allows easy and very cheap transport to anywhere in Paris. I can't reccomend the Metro highly enough. It is cheap (buy the carnet tickets, a book of ten) punctual, clean and safe. It is currently under going a major refurbishment at the moment so the occasional station may be closed but free busses are laid on Staff in the hotel are brilliant. the desk staff are extremely helpful, their English is far better than my French and they are always on hand to help. The domestic staff do a great job. Cheerful and the rooms get cleaned + new towels every day. The rooms are freshly decorated, the lift new and a lovely smell of leather from the new furniture in the reception. Within a 5 minute walk there loads of cafes, resturants, fruit shops, small supermarkets, pharmacies. All the major tourist attractions are no more than 15 mins by metro away. For the money you'll be hard pressed to find better. It's the perfect base.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Innova. Its location was beneficial to us since we had to leave for Lourdes via Gare Montparnasse and it was just 5 minutes walk away. We were 5 travelling and asked for a twin and triple rooms, preferably with a view of the Eiffel tower. We were given a quadruple room and one of the rooms had a view of the Eiffel!! The people running this hotel are very considerate towards personal requests and in a city as impersonal as Paris, that is a PLUS! The rooms and bathrooms are clean, we didn't need airconditioning since April is a delightful month climate-wise. One of the really nice thing about the area is that there are so many boulangeries and food shops and it is not in a touristy area so you can see the locals "do their thing" everyday. The metro is just across the street and being newbies to Paris we didn't find it hard to use the subway at all. Everyone speaks English so no problem in that area. And since we had to leave for Lourdes~ their luggage storage facility is a bonus. All in all I would rate our stay at this hotel a 9+. Only the receiving area is old and needs to be refurbished. Otherwise, everything is great. We would stay there again and would gladly recommend the hotel to our friends.
