3.8We selected the Appia for its proximity to the Gare Du Nord and Gare d'Est train stations. It was in aperfect location for both of these main Paris stations. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even storing our main luggage while we went to Lourdes for three days. The rooms were not large, but very clean and featured a small baclony. Breakfast was fine. Access to trains and buses being so near enabled us to reach the centre of Paris in less than 10 minutes and at minimal cost. We stayed a total of 7 nights at the Appia, which allowed us a simple connection to the airport, the city centre, London (Eurostar), Lisseux and Loudes (3 nights before returning to the Appia). We would stay at the Appia again.
