The price was high for the size of the room, but overall it was a good stay and somewhere I would consider staying again.

Altough this is not my worst hotel experience in Paris, it was the synthesis of what can go wrong with a hotel room in this city. Very small room, tiny moldy bathroom, A/C & safe in the room didn't work, very noisy location and bad insulation (from outside and hotel noises). Friendly staff though (so 'un-Paris-like') and so so location. We did pay way too much money for this room in comparison with other hotels in the same area. I definately do not recommend this hotel, take your time to look for something else. There are far better deals to find in Paris.

I have been to paris a few times. The air conditioning in our room didn't work properly and it was very noisy and hot. We didn't sleep. Most of the staff were evasive about the air conditioning. We gave notice and left after 2 nights. They refunded us 50 Euro per night because of the air conditioning. It is a nice location and the bed was comfortable. The room was small and the wallpaper was peeling. There was no minibar, wifi was extra and there was nothing in the hotel facilities to justify the price of Eu180 per night.

We had a smallish room at 180 Euro per night. The bed was good and comfortable and the bathroom fine. There was peeling wallpaper and our bedspread had some unwelcome stains (they changed it). The air conditioning was working but not cooling. That wouldn't have mattered to us but It was a hot night and the street noise was loud so we couldn't sleep with the window open. We gave them notice and left after 2 nights. They reduced our bill by 100 Euros (50 per night) because of the air conditioning. The hotel is on a popular corner and it's a nice spot but I couldn't justify the price even if everything had been working. I have stayed in more expensive rooms in Paris but they were large and light with views and facilities. This had a safe but no minibar and the wi-fi was not included.
