Go to Paris 2-3 times per year and have to say this is my favorite of all the hotels in which I have stayed. Don't understand some of the negative reviews here. Used to stay on the Left Bank but got tired of the tiny rooms and the ever increasing prices. Based on the reviews thought i would get a similar room but at a cheaper price. what a pleasant surprise! the room was twice the size that I was used to ( king sized bed and yet still plenty of room to walk around it!) and the bathroom was large. (I paid an extra 20Euros/nite for the larger double yet it was still 20-50 Euros/nite cheaper than where i stayed on the Left Bank ) The room over- looked a park across Rue Bretagne (a busy street) but was totally quiet and we loved the park view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is terrific. Only criticism was there could have been more hanging space or a small dresser given all the space. Otherwise, no complaints here!

Well, our stay started off pretty well, as they were short of rooms, so upgraded the missus and me for the first night. Our regular room was pretty nice as well though. Great location for strolling around the Marais. Very friendly staff. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to go downstairs to the local cafe for breakfast, as the room service breakfast was a bit of a rip-off, and it's nice to watch Paris go by over an espresso and croissant.
