I moved to this hotel after a week and a half in another hotel on St. Michel Boulevard because of the noise. I loved it. It has AC, I was able to leave the door closed so I would not hear any noise. Breakfast buffet was included in the price and the staff was extremely helpful. Nearest metro is about two blocks away and Bus 31 leaves you right at the door. It is a nice residential area and I really enjoyed it. I wished I would have stayed at this hotel during my entire stay in Paris. I will definitely stay here again. Rooms and bathroom are very clean, it has mini-bar and there is a small supermarket across the street if you want to keep snacks in your room. It is a great thing to have a small refrigerator in the room as opposed to the previous hotel where we stayed (Hotel de Suez) where you die of thirst in the middle of the night. GREAT HOTEL AND STAFF!!!!!!!
Nice friendly staff, you can walk into the centre of Paris or catch a no. 31 bus, just outside the hotel, very convenient for tired legs! Rooms 17, 27, 37, 47, 57 and 67 are all very small and not to be recommended. We had room 27, very small, but very clean. The bathroom is tiny and you can't turn around in the shower. I'm quite slim and it was difficult for me. The breakfast was lovely, however, there are only 30 seats for a hotel with over 60 rooms, fortunately we didn't have to wait for a table, but some people did.
For a few days in Paris this hotel is ideal. It is located near a Metro station in a traditionally Parisian residential district. There is a lovely patisserie almost next door and a couple of inexpensive eateries a short walk away. There is also a small music hall nearby which seems to have low key musical events on most nights.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good but quite expensive if not included in the package.
The room was small and simple despite being classed as "superieur" but was very clean . The beds were hard which I liked.
On the negative side the room was uncomfortably hot for me despite there being no heating on. We had the fan on and the window open but still found it hot. There was also a problem with the sink which drained very slowly but didn't disturb us enough to report it.
There is a TV and minibar.
If you are looking for a luxurious hotel to spend a lot of time in, this isn't the one for you but if you are looking for a clean hotel to sleep and breakfast in while exploring Paris this would be ideal. I would go back.
