
The Parc des Buttes Chaumont is one of the largest of Paris' urban parks. The park includes several cliffs, bridges, a grotto which encloses a waterfall, a lake, and English and Chinese gardens. The most prominent feature is the Temple of Sybil which sits atop the rocky "island" at the center of the park. It boasts many varieties of indigenous and exotic trees.
The Parc de la Villette: these former slaughterhouse grounds constitute the largest park in the city of Paris. The park houses public facilities devoted to science and music.
The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is the biggest science museum in Europe. It has a planetarium, an IMAX theatre (La Géode) and special departments for children and teenagers. It is located in the Parc de la Villette.
The Cité de la Musique is a group of institutions dedicated to music and situated in the La Villette quarter. It consists of an amphitheater; a concert hall that can accommodate between 800 and 1.000 people; a museum of music, containing an important collection of classical music instruments (dating mainly from the fifteenth- to twentieth-century) and exhibition halls, workshops and archives.

BY ROAD
• From the "Boulevard Périphérique" ring road, take the "Porte de Pantin" exit, follow the Rue Manin and take the second left onto the Rue de Crimée. Turn right onto the Rue Botzaris, then immediately left onto the Rue de la Villette. The Cours du 7ème Art is found at 70, Rue de la Villette.

ROISSY-CHARLES-DE-GAULLE AIRPORT (21 km)
• From the airport take RER (regional train) line B going to Robinson, as far as the Gare du Nord. Then take RATP bus line 26 (see directions above). This should take approximately 1 hour (changes included).
• Connections by taxi or hired car.
ORLY AIRPORT (22 km)
• From the airport, take the RATP bus (Orlybus line) going to Denfert-Rochereau. At Denfert- Rochereau, take RER line B going to Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle 2 TGV and continue as far as Châtelet-les-Halles. Then take metro line 11 (see the directions above). This should take approximately 1 hour (including changes).
