Saphir Grenelle - Paris, France     

We stayed during 3 days at the Saphir Grenelle and returned quite happy from our trip. Pro's : The price of the hotel is excellent. We managed to get it for 65 € which is quite nice for Paris. The location of the hotel is also great. Please note that the nearest metro is unavailable until September 13th due to constructions at the metro station. But the next metro station on the same line is also within walking distance so we managed to explore the city perfectly. The people at the frontdesk were also really friendly and helpfull. Con's : The room we got was quite small and this goes also for the bathroom. I haven't been in such a small hotelroom before but it didn't really bother us as the room had all the comfort we needed and it was also very clean. There isn't any "luggage room" so if you leave the hotel and want them to keep your luggage for a while it is just placed in a public hall near to the frontdesk. I didn't like that too much.

Could not have wished for better, staff are extremely friendly, speak fantastic English and make you feel as nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is situated in the perfect place, you are close to the metro and there are lots of great shops write on the doorstep, I loved walking along the typical French streets in the mornings and watching all the people go by, it is also good as the streets are always full of life whether it be 7 in the morning or 1 at night and I felt extremely safe. The rooms are exceedingly clean and are a reasonable size for two people. At night the rooms were very quiet and the beds were lovely and comfortable so sleeping was no problem. The only down point about the rooms was that there is no air conditioning so it can get hot, however you are in Paris and want to be outside experience it not stuck in a room so this was not a problem. Overall a fantastic place and if I go back to Paris the Saphir Grenelle Hotel will be where I stay.
