  • 00pm and the night porter (extremely unwelcoming & unpleasant in deed) said that they did not have a booking for us and that there were no rooms available, except from 1 room with a LARGE bed in it. This LARGE bed was a single bed which he expected my mum and I to share. They then transferred us to yet another hotel, which I must say were a lot more helpful than the Holiday Inn staff.. • I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, and the staff were pretty helpful. The hotel is very handy for the subway, which is just a few minutes walk away, and from there, you can get to anywhere in Paris! There's quite a nice cafe over the bridge and to the left (can't remember the name, sorry), and plenty of grocer shops nearby if, like us, you wanted to have your own breakfast in the morning.. • This hotel is located away from the tourist areas, but is a good location to the train and for the use of the bus. The hotel clerks were friendly but didn't know very much about other places or their locations in the city.. Read review

  • The hotel is clean and comfortable and though the rooms are not big, ours was adequate even with our son taking up space in a third bed. Breakfast was good and there was enough of a selection for everyone to find something they liked (if you do not like hotel buffet breakfasts there are also a number of small cafes and restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel). When we did have occasion to speak to the hotel staff we found them welcoming and friendly, not surly as some other reviewers have said. But if you just want a quiet base, a little off the beaten track, from which to visit the sights of Paris then you could do a lot worse than this hotel.. Read review
