Fantastic Location

Fantastic location as it was conveniently located just across the train station and we arrived really late. The room was nice except for the fact that I booked a single room for 2 as the hotel was full! However the staff were friendly enough to provide us amenities for 2 and allow us to stay in. Would certainly choose this hotel again if my train arrives late in the night with no time to head to central paris.

Its hard to imagine a grottier bit of Paris. From the moment I arrived to find out that the rates they charged were 15% less than what I had paid over the internet, I knew that this wasnt going to be a great stay. The rooms are fairly squalid and smell of old people and it wouldnt surprise me if they were often rented by the hour rather than the night. I had an excuse for staying here because I had to get from the eurostar to the rugby at Stade de France very quickly and needed somewhere near Gare de Nord to dump my stuff. However, you do have an excuse so dont. In its favour it is close to the Gard de Nord train station. However this is only hardly a good thing as the gard de nord is one of the least nice areas in the whole of paris.
