2Very basic simple rooms which are small but not tiny with a reasonable sized bathroom. No coffee/tea facilities in room, soap, shower gel & hairdryer provided. Everything clean & the bed was comfortable. Room very warm & the cleaners very helpfully came in & turned it up & on while we were out during the day despite us turning it to its lowest setting & off!
Window looked out onto busy road & tram line which was noisy 24/7 so light sleepers should avoid, I can sleep through quite alot & I got woke up a few times through the night as did the other people we were with in the room next door. Also the walls are quite thin so you can hear people walking about, opening & closing doors nearby etc.
The breakfast was poor, frazzled streaky bacon & scrambled egg, baguettes as mentioned before that tasted like they had been baked the day before. Yoghurt, fruit & cereal available aswell as croissants, ham, cheese, jam, tea, coffee & 2 fruit juices. I'd rather have picked a cheaper hotel room only & went out for breakfast.
Excellent location, Balard metro is directly across from the hotel entrance & is just within Zone 1 (central Paris) area so you are near everything easily with a couple of changes here & there. There is also a tram stop directly outside.
