Good budget hotel located in a reasonable area of Paris. Staff were very helpful on reception and booking in only took moments. No security issues at hotel we kept our door key card and the reception was always resourced.
Room was well decorated and clean but as previous reviews state on the small side, but in keeping with older properties in large cities. My opinion, okay for visits less than a week, after that the lack of storage may be an issue. The on suite good/clean again not that big.
Breakfast room sited in basement is bright clean and well run by the friendly efficient lady who greets you. Good choice coffee, cereal, cheese.ham, bread and toaster, fruit cocktail/juices, jams bread and pastries on table, probably best continental breakfast I've had.
Location -local lived in part of Paris plenty of local shops, boulangerie's etc. bars, cafes, restaurants, good market on Tues/Friday mins from hotel on Rue Richard Lenoir.
Getting there we travelled from CDG by RER to Gare Du Nord followed signs to Line 5 which has orange as colour for line and got off at the metro at Republique 5 mins walk from there. Print a map of area the Republique has several exits this will assist in going in right direction when leaving the metro.
Overall the hotel is a good choice for those within this budget range I would stay again if visiting Paris.

We booked a room at this hotel back in January for 3 days in May. When we arrived they told us there was a problem with the booking and that we were to stay in a sister hotel in the 12th Arrondissement. I think they had plenty of time to let us know the situation and could have dealt with it better. It was a HUGE inconvenience and we had to find another hotel that wasn't so far away from the action.
