Excellent location, relatively quiet street and breakfasts were good Within walking distance of Notre Dame. Furthermore this hotel was charming and we were offered a room in a small building in the yard. The same rate applied was a nice surprise, the lobby was well appointed and the staffs were very kind. Very good location and for Paris a perfect hotel : value for money. Excellent service all round, the receptionist was quite friendly and helpful, please write at least 15 words rooms were lovely. The breakfasts were delicious. . Read review

Excellent location, the hotel offered a free breakfast to compensate - much appreciated given wasn't their fault and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the food there was amazing especially the creme brulee. . Read review

Proximity to a nearby metro station added to a good and hotel was quiet in a central location. The staff was friendly, due to a general blackout in Paris we had no hot water one morning.

The location is excellent - incredibly central, the hotel is very convenient to the Bastille metro station and service could have been better. The rooms are all air conditioned as well.

Especially like the outdoor area for dinner, a very nice stay at the Castex - the hotel is in a fabulous location for the Marais very close to Bastille and renovated rooms are small.
