We are Starwood members and booked a 5 night stay with an additional 2 nights at the end of our vacation and found the hotel to be top-notch with a great staff, fantastic rooms and ideal location. The Concierge desk couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. In addition to helping with activities and dinner reservations, they deserve our highest accolades for all their hard work dealing with the airline when all our luggage was lost (a huge problem that put quite a damper on the first week of our vacation). Despite the missing luggage setback, it was always so nice to return to our lovely room at the end of the day. The rooms were beyond comfortable with top quality sheets and bedding, lovely marble baths with all the amenities and plenty of room and closet space (granted we were in a suite). The entire staff was friendly and i have nothing bad to say except one room service situation when they forgot our dinner order so we had to wait over an hour for food. Other than that, we would definitely return again when in Paris.

I stayed here last summer (I'm new to Trip Advisor and reviewing back as far as I can remember). It was on Starwood points for two nights... I was given a very nice room, slightly dated decor, but it fit well with the building and the neighborhood. The bathroom was simply amazing, marble everywhere, huge and the Hermes bath products were a nice, elegant touch. The room was of adequate size, especially for Europe and I enjoyed the balcony, albeit a very tiny balcony. The hotel staff, when I saw them was mostly impartial, certainly not rude, but not warm and inviting either. As for being one of the world's foremost hotels, I don't know...I wasn't there long enough to say either way, but it was definitely adequate, nice, comfortable, clean and convenient. Would I have paid the EUR$400 a night to stay there, probably not, but it was worth blowing a bunch of Starwood points.
