Elysees Ceramic - Paris, France 

Great location and excellent staff

We were a group of five visiting Paris in June, 2009. We very much enjoyed our stay at Elysees Ceramic Hotel. The location is great - steps away from l'Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees and Charles de Gaulle Etoile metro stop. There are a number of nice restaurants right in the neighborhood. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful; all speak good English and were eager to help us in plan our activities and order taxis when needed. The rooms are of decent size by European (or NY for that matter) standards. Note that breakfast is not included in the price; we tended to just pick up something quick at one of the eateries on the block.

enjoyed our stay. Very good location and the staff was very helpful with our needs, Very close to Metro.

Expensive

I was dissapointed with the room, torn carpet, shower makes a mess. View horrible, rather expensive for time of year we stayed.

Adequate hotel, nice staff, excellent location

Room was a little dated and worn, but perfectly adequate. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I thought the hotel was a very good value (by Paris standards) for what we paid, especially given the awesome location - just a couple of minutes to the Le' Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees, and to the local metro / RER station connecting to all of the other sites in Paris. Plenty of boulangeries, cafes, farmer markets, etc if you head in the opposite direction from the Arc.
