Hôtel très calme, personnel sympathique. La literie est décevante pour un trois étoiles ; le sèche-cheveux ne fonctionnait pas, et l'aération dans la salle de bains tenait avec du scotch.
Nice hotel, but I requested a triple with an additional cot for my 12 yr old. Instead we got a double with a cot - had to "borrow" the cushions off the couch in the lobby so she had something to sleep on. Next day they brought a cot, which broke during the night. Room was VERY tight with 2 cots. Regular double bed was lumpy; our room was on the front so a bit of traffic noise. If it's just a room to sleep in, then you can't beat the price for Paris. Also, the charged 15 euros for a simple breakfast of bread and cheese in plastic. Not worth it.
The Allegro is located in a nice quiet area of Paris just far enough away from everything to get a good night's sleep, but with great transit access to everything.
Just a short walk away are both the M1 and M6 metro lines which take you to all the big Paris attractions (Louvre, Eiffel Tour, Trocadero, etc etc) so getting around from here is a snap.
The rooms are great, exactly as pictured on the web site. Probably one of the best hotel bathrooms I've ever had too - everything was relatively new and in great condition.
My only complaint would be the lack of good internet service. The hotel has very expensive (10 Euro/day) wireless which doesn't work all that well. There are no wired internet connections available. Most other hotels in this price range have either free internet service or a much more reasonable rate.
