My husband and I stayed at The Trois Poussins hotel in Paris for 4 days from 10-12 May 2008, and found the hotel to be fantastic. It is very close to some lovely restaurants and only a short distance away from the Metro. From start to finish we could not say enough about our stay. Firstly, our room was average sized, very clean and everything was in working condition. Each day our bathroom was restocked with soaps, shower gel, shampoos and flannels along with ample towels. Our bed was extremely comfortable and spacious, black out blinds on the windows ensure that we were able to get up a bit later than normal (well we were on a short break) and the hotel was very quiet so a good night’s sleep was never a problem. We only every had breakfast at the hotel, and once again the hotel came up trumps, everything from fruit juice, yoghurts, cereals, toast, brioche, pain au chocolat, tea and coffee, all on a self service basis in a very quaint dining area in the basement. There is also a little beer garden at the back of the hotel, but unfortunately when we were there only soft drinks were available. Reception staff – what can we say about them … everyone was so polite and friendly, and always had a ‘bonjour’ or ‘au revoir’ accompanied with a smile when we passed by, and we noticed that this was the same with all the guests. One of the receptionists even made a call for us to confirm our transfer back to the airport at no additional costs to us. In summation, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would be looking for a quiet, comfortable and very friendly place to stay. When we go back to Paris (which we hope will be in the not too distant future) we will be booking back into The Trois Poussins. BON VOYAGE

Booked through expedia on basis of reviews both on the expedia website and through trip advisor, me and my girlfriend weren't disappointed. Throughout our stay there were numerous staff on reception, all of which were at least bi-lingual (French + English) and on checking in we were given a complimentry map with the hotel and nearest metro both highlighted, The room was on the small side in comparison to English hotels but was more than adequate and very clean, with a large bathroom that contained a bath (only big enough to stand/sit in for a shower), sink and toilet. Each day the room was cleaned to a good standard and towels were replaced. The nearest metro is liteally 200 meters away and the hotel is in a perfect location to explore the whole of Paris as well as taking advantage of numerous restaurants, bistro's, cafe's and bakery's for breakfast. The hotel were kind enough to store our bags securely for 5 hours after our check out until our train later that day something im sure u wouldnt get from all hotel chains. In summary, a lovely little private hotel with a friendly helpful smiling face on reception a perfect base for exploring Paris and would happily recommend to friends and family. Yes there are more luxurious hotels in Paris but on a budget you cant go wrong!!
