Posted: Feb 13, 2011 - The hotel was pretty quiet even though we were close to busy streets. The staff are very helpful and they speak English. The room did lack an alarm clock which was a little inconvenient but did have wake up call service. Our room had a kitchenette with 2 electric burners and a refigerator but no utensils or any kitchen supplies so that it kind off useless to us. THere were 2 plastic cups in the bathroom though. The TV was a nice flat screen TV and hadabout 8 channels- many in French,one with an American movie. Overall, a nice clean hotel in a good location.. Read review

Posted: Mar 25, 2011 - The staff speak excellent English (much better than my halting French) and are very welcomming and helpful. A very nice flat screen TV adorned the chest and got the usuall range of French channels including BBC World News and the German version of Eurosport! The only downside was the lack of tea and coffee making facilites, but there was an excellent bar at the end of the street (the Brasserie Creuzel) which I would fully recommend for drinks and light snacks. Breakfast was especially good value at 5 euros. Excellent hotel: clean, friendly and comfortable.. Read review
Posted: Nov 19, 2005 - member - The hotel is small and friendly in a quiet road in a non-tourist part of the city with lots of wonderful foodshops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are quite small but I understand this is common in Paris. They were very clean as was the en suite bathroom which only had a shower. We enjoyed the breakfast which had cereals,cheese,fruit salad,yogurt, rolls and croissants. We appreciated the free use of the safe in our room and the complimentary newspaper in the morning. We tried various restaurants in the area and found the Rose Bleue to have an adequate three course meal for 16 euros.. Read review
