Me and my friend booked this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it! The Hotel is nice, our room was at the 6th floor of 7, so we had the balcony directly on the little street were it is located, right opposite to the louis vuitton boutique! The room was quite small accordingly to the Parisien and European standards but very clean, with nice furniture and a functional bathroom with a bath/shower and hairdryer. The most aspect to considerate is the absolutly amazing location, totally central and in one of the best area of Paris; in fact Saint-Germain is full of bars, restaurants, top designer boutiques and shops, it is very quite and safe, even if you come back late night. The staff was helpful and could speak english correctly, service was right and overall it was a very good staying! Highly recommended if you want nice service and low budget rates!

Horrible

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. 3/4 of our window was blocked by a large aluminum panel. They had the worst options for wi-fi access. The shower stall did not drain properly giving you about 3 minutes before you had to shut the water off to prevent the pool of water that you were standing in from flowing onto the bathroom floor. On top off all that, any time someone in apparently any room in the hotel would turn on their air conditioner, the whole place would lose power. The guy at the desk would flip the breakers back after a few minutes, but without fail, someone else would power up their air conditioner within a matter of minutes leading to another power outage. It was 80 degrees and everyone was left without power and AC. Somehow, the guy at the front desk still managed to look shocked and surprised that we were checking out early. My recommendation would be stay at the Hotel Duret. It's a bit off the beaten path and Hemingway never stayed there, but it is a thousand times better than this dump!

Avrei dovuto darvi retta

I should have listened

I should have listened to previous reviewers. We went to check in and were told that the people who had our rooms had gotten sick and couldn’t move, so our reservations weren’t any good. Coincidentally that was for BOTH rooms we had booked. I couldn’t believe the concierge could lie to our faces like that. Obviously this hotel has a pattern of overbooking. The location is great, but we ended up at another place a little further from the intersection of Saint Germain and Rue de Rennes and were happy because it was a lot quieter, and we could still walk to the action.
