Holiday Inn Paris-Montparnasse - Paris, France     

Stayed here for a short 3 day break to Paris! Hotel is very close to Vaugirard metro station making it an ideal base given the simplicity of the Paris Metro (when not on strike). Hotel staff were superb and very friendly (as were all Parisians I spoke to!). They were able to offer advice on the forthcoming Metro strike which I was unware of when we arrived - which co-incided with my departure date so was glad to know! Rooms were clean and was upgraded to a corner room which was a little basic and dull but clean! Bathroom could do with some upgrading but again it was clean and met our requirements! Upgraded room was on 5th floor with a view of the Eiffel Tower! Breakfasts were inlcuded in the rate and were superb for a continental breakfast! Agin table service in the morning was excellent and the staff very pleasant. I would recomend this hotel based on location, prIce and the friendly staff!

hotel is located right beside gaite metro stop and is close to montparnasse station. the staff, in particular the manager, were very friendly and professional, we got a good rate having booked on the day we arrived. hotel rooms are clean and reasonably spacious, bathroom is good. i recommend staying here, particularly if arriving/leaving on TGV to/from Gare Montparnasse
