We stayed at the Timhotel Elysee for 9 nights. We arrived mid morning and at check in were handed our key and were told you are in room 33 on level 3. We were not welcomed nor were we told anything about the hotel ie where breakfast is served and at what time. There is one tiny lift which can fit 4 people or 2 people and luggage. Our room was exceptionally tiny but clean and did have tea & coffee making facilities but no fridge (which we weren't expecting). The bathroom had a shower over the bath and a side glass screen that stopped no water at all so after a shower the floor was awash. The towels are very skimpy and the bed just this side of being comfortable.
Now having said the bad things the good things are. Breakfast was very good, Cereal, toast, baguettes, danish pastries, cold meat, cheeses, yoghurt, juices, cook your own egg & choice of teas, coffee. We were able to store goods in the fridge after asking at reception. We also were able to use glasses from the little kitchen. One night we bought our dinner from the local deli and sat in the breakfast area using the cutlery, china etc. We did clean up after ourselves and washed up. Try doing that in most other hotels.
The position is excellent - a 10-15 min walk from the Champs Elysee and two short blocks from the Miromesnil metro station. There is a very nice little Chinese restaurant just up from the hotel which is very reasonable (we ate there 3 times) and a supermarket across the road.
Would I stay there again - Yes because it is such a good position and the day staff were quite friendly and helpful and spoke good english. The night staff didn't speak english and that did make life a bit harder.

What a great little base! After reading some of the reviews on here about space issues, I was dreading my stay, expecting to barely be able to move. Happily, I was proved wrong. Space was not an issue at all - I would like to point out to other traveller who might also be doubtful: there was plenty of room ie enough for a double bed (and space to get out either side), wardrobe, small nightstands on either side, dressing table and tv on stand and still space to move around freely. The hotel was clean, the staff freindly, the rooms nice as was the breakfast. Completely what you would hope for when booking a 3*. I don't understand the gripes posted on here: you get what you pay for. This hotel certainly isn't the Ritz, but neither does it proclaim to be. A lovely base for exploring Paris, I'd definitely go back.
