Residence Henri IV - Paris, France     

We have just returned from a 6 week European trip. The majority of our accomodation was booked after reading reviews from Trip Advisor. Hotel Residence Henri IV was a great little find. They provided us with directions from the main station. The hotel is situated in the famous Latin Quarter in a quiet strret overlooking a park and eveything is within walking distance or easily accessible by public transport (e.g. Notre Dame is a 5 min walk.) The hotel is small with only 2 rooms per floor. We stayed in a superior room that provided a pull out sofa bed in the lounge and 2 single beds pushed together to make up a king sized bed in the bedroom. The bathroom was large with heated towel racks and all the ammenities you would expect . An added bonus was a tiny kitchenette with a microwave, bar fridge and hot plate. There was a market down the road where you could buy many delicious things to bring back to the room. Breakfast was not included in our tarrif but there is pleny of variety nearby. The staff were very attentive and polite. Overall, this is one of my favourite hotels from the trip. Our room was fantastic for 2, great for 3 and adequate for 4. My children found the sofa bed a liitle tight and the hotel was not able to provide any additional bedding.

Ditto to all the other positive comments. The hotel was perfectly situated in a lovely part of Paris, and absolutely ideal for a family needing two rooms. The apartment for four was wonderful space for three adults and two young children, and connecting by entry (with a door to close off the stairway) to the other two-person room made it very convenient for two other family members to interact freely. However, what made the hotel exceptional was the STAFF! STAFF! STAFF! They were all genuinely warm, friendly, helpful, and responsive. The management is obviuosly doing the right hiring and training!
