The location is fantastic. The room is not very clean, a little run down... Further, service was terrible with front officer totally rude and cold. I will not stay here again and will investigate for another property when staying in Paris. I would honestly not recommend it to any prospective customers.

Top hotell! Excellent! This is the hotel we would stay at next time we go to Paris.

The Hotel is more like an old rebuilted house, there is an little elevator, and the breakfast room is cozy. The staff was excelent, but sometimes they have only 1 person to do everything. The surrounding area is excelent, near open area restaurants that you can smoke, near the showhouses(LIDO:the worst money spent in my life, very sleepy show), near the big stores, its possible to go walking to see The Tour Eifell or L`arc du Triumpf. I particullarly recomend it, but check the size of your room, because we had to change, when we arrived, to another one, bigger and more expensive. 2 blocks from the metro station, very easy way to get anywhere in Paris. Definitly the neighborhood is the best!

We accepted a room upgrade to a junior suite (approx 100 sterling extra) lovely room. Hotel in great location, good walking distance to all main attractions. Only disappointment was the service, could not borrow an iron on arrival, told we could pay to get items ironed (this was expensive) Our travel adaptor did not work in the room so we bought one at reception for approx 15 sterling then had to return it at end of our two day trip! Next time in paris would book other hotel, one with a spa or more amenities for the price as this hotel was pretty expensive, although again, could not fault the junior suite (despite the price) it was worth it.

Superb Location

Have just returned from a lovely four night stay at Claridge Bellman. Reception area was very welcoming and the reception staff very helpful and friendly. We were offered special rates to upgrade to a junior suite which we accepted and were not disappointed. Our room was very comfortable with a four poster bed on the fourth floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was extremely quiet. Breakfast was adequate and the breakfast area was pleasant. There is an"honesty bar" in the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent with an abundance of cafes, restaurants and bistros all around. Easy walking distance to the metro, shops and sights.
