Charing Cross - Paris, France     

It seems folks either love it or hate it. I'm from MN USA and was with my Fiance for vacation. If you like to gamble go for it -I just think you will be bummed about something during your stay here. -Biggest disappointment: the cleaning gal left our room open and unlocked -fortunately nothing was stolen- we left at 9am got back around 5pm scary & unprofessional -Breakfast: DISGUSTING! we came down the stairs to two full towers of dirty dishes/old food -the tables next to them were used for more space to hold the incoming dishes -Out of 5 mornings I had to ask for something each day: cups for coffee, napkins, knives one day, spoons the next, they ran out of crossiants and bread every day while they stood in the back room talking to each other VERY LAZY Staff -hallways: carpet had bleach stains on them...actually it was like purple astro-turf, & the ceiling was cracked -Pictures on website don't portray it accruately -once you get into the lobby you realize the nuveau furniture was purchased at ikea -cheap -Room: small, NO AIR CONDITIONING we did have 2 fans -each without the front panel safety guard and both covered in dust, I swear the bed was not a full Double size -but maybe I looking for the bad stuff by then -Bathroom mediocre, careful not to pull the shower curtain shut the whole way...ours started to cook because the lights were so close to it -Elevator: don't waste your time the staff uses it to move laundry up & down the hotel and they hold it open at the bottom where they can use it (saw this because the laundry is connected to breakfast) One Front desk guy was nice the other was a punk -and I speak French so I don't think it was a language issue. Please don't stay here until they clean up their act Will Add photos soon.

El estado de la habitación 502 es pésimo. El lavamanos tiene una tubería de desagüe que conecta con la bañera, de foma que el agua sale por la bañera. Las puertas del balcón no ajustan y el ruido del tráfico por la noche es importante. Además del frio que entra (estuvimos hospedados en octubre de 2007). La sala de desayunos está en mal estado de conservación: cristal/espejo oxidado, azulejo que está apunto de saltar, mobiliario antiguo... No se ajusta a la categoria de 3 estrellas como se anuncia.
