4.9My wife and I have stayed in a few different hotels in Paris over the last couple of years, and the Aviatic was the one which had the best accommodations. It looks like the hotel has been recently renovated, and the room was very nice. The bathroom was very modern, and fairly spacious for Parisian standards, there was a stand-up shower, but no tub. The decoration of the bedroom was very tasteful, and the wooden floors were a plus for my wife, who's not a big fan of hotel carpets. The staff was very friendly and helpful, despite my butchered French - they all spoke English fairly well.
The hotel is on the very south edge of the 6th Arrondissement and closer to Montparnasse Tower than it was to Invalides. The location was a good walk from most of the sights of Paris, but we enjoy walking, so this was not a problem. There are a few different options of subway stations/lines within a short distance for those who prefer to go with the public transportation.
I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris, whether on vacation or business, and would look to stay there again.
