Okay
"Victoires Opera scores a "victory" for us!"

I took my two daughters age 15 and 23 to Paris in June. I wanted a small boutique hotel, so after researching the web, I found the Victoires Opera Hotel. I was apprehensive at first because I had never stayed there, but I was pleasantly surprised at the location, cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were small but it did not matter, as the great location far outweighed this fact. It was a perfect experience for my girls, as we were in the center of Paris, within walking distance of the Louvre, shopping, and many other attractions. Lovely cafes, bars and shops line the pedestrian street, and it does get a little loud at night, as our room faced the street, but open the windows and take in the full ambiance of Paris!!

Mediocre
Not service with a smile and no clean sheets in sight!

The worst hotel in I've stayed at in Paris. The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. The rooms are not clean, the bed sheets were never refreshed, even after 3 days when we requested fresh sheets - it couldn't be done. The rooms are small and pokey. The breakfast is dry and served in a windowless cellar in the basement of the hotel. It's a pretend boutique hotel that beyond the nice wallpaper is nothing better than than a low budget hostel.

Had read mixed reviews about this hotel on Trip Advisor following booking, so was a bit apprehensive. However, was pleasantly surprised! We were made to feel welcome right from the start of the weekend by the staff on reception, who went out of their way to make our stay an excellent one. From offering alternative rooms, to helping book restaurants, taxis and making recommendations on places to visit in Paris. Special mention goes out to a bloke called Walid on reception! Added to this, the location of the hotel is perfect, allowing most of the major attractions to be reached by foot, and the hustle & bustle of the road outside is enthralling and well worth a look.. Would definitely consider staying again if this high standard can be maintained!

We arrived in paris eleven in the evening, tired from travelling. We were told that the room was not available due to plumbing problems and that we are booked into another hotel in another area. This was delivered quite as a matter of fact, no apologies. We were taxied to the Newton opera hotel a shabby 3 star with horrible rooms (Fawlty Towers like). I tried to call the manager of Victoires Opera the next day but he was not available. Our trip got a bad start due to this hotel that apparently has a system of overbooking and cooperating with the Newton Opera and the Washington Opera Hotels. They are lying right in the face of the guests and with this reshuffling system they get rid of all the cheaper deal clients. Please beware of these hotels and tell your booking agents about these facts.
