Best Western Gaillon Opera - Paris, France

Perfect if you are never going to be in the room. The hotel is undergoing major renovations and the majority of the staff speaks some to great English. Don't waste your money on breakfast there, there is a place on the corner that is wonderful. Also, there is a bar diagonally below the hotel, which is a good or bad thing depending on if you are a sports fan. We were there the night of the big Man U game, so we didn't get a wink that night.

Great Little Hotel - Terrific Location

We stayed at this hotel for a week, and it's a perfect base for exploring Paris. The location is perfect, close to several metro stations, the Louvre, the Opera, Galeries Lafayette. Felt safe even late at night coming back to the hotel The staff were very helpful. Of course, rooms and bathrooms are on the small side, but we spent very little time at the hotel, so did not care much about that. Instead of having breakfast at the hotel, explore the cafes outside, there is a great one around the corner.

Home away from home for 2 weeks!

This hotel was a wow experience for our family of 4. We traveled with our 2 teens for several weeks this summer and the Hotel Gaillon Opera in Paris was terrific. We stayed in two different rooms the two room dormer was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful in facilitating medical care for our daughter who fractured her shoulder biking. This perfect and safe location near museums and movie theaters allowed our teens to be independent. They really became skilled and confident negotiating Paris. I highly recommend this Hotel because the owner has incredible people skills and speaks very good English.
