"Wonderful stay!"

We just returned from a 4 night trip to Paris. We had a triple room at The Opera Cadet . (Girl's trip while the husbands played Golf). The hotel provided excellent service, clean rooms, a very hospitable atmosphere and a wonderful Continental breakfast included in the booking price. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The closet was tiny, but there were drawers and a desk. The hot water never ran out! Mademoiselle Helene was extremely helpful at the front desk, as well as another gentleman whose name we missed. Everyone spoke English and was quite charming. The location is wonderful, with the Metro station located accross the street, next to Mc Donald's. Upon our arrival in Paris we took the RER at CDG Airport, switched over at Gare du Nord and hopped on the Pink Line to the Cadet stop. It took less than 1 hour! The location of this hotel provides easy access to all Paris attractions and it's within about an 8 minute walk to Galleries Lafayette and Printemps Department Stores. We felt safe at all times. This hotel complimented our wonderful stay in Paris!

My wife and I along with our 2 teenagers stayed at the Opera Cadet for 3 nights the first week of June '08. We paid $300 for a quad room that was set up thru a travel agent as part of a package. The room was very small, as are most rooms in Europe, but was adequate considering we were not in the room most of the time. The room consisted of one double bed along with two singles. The breakfast included your standard European fare such as breads, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The location was on a narrow street with many shops including patisseries, small grocery stores, and restaurants. The Cadet subway stop was conveniently located across the street. The front desk was helpful for the most part when asked for information. Internet access was available in the lobby for 10 Euros an hour, but we found an Internet Cafe for 4 Euros an hour. The only negative was the dirty carpet outside the room needed cleaning and the hallways smelled musty. I would consider staying at the Opera Cadet again.
