wir das Hotel erst mal gefunden hatten, parkten wir und checkten ein. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Mit den Zimmerkarten kann man den Aufzug benutzen. Als wir in unser Zimmer kamen…WOW. Der Standard eines normalen Zimmers war klasse, Tee und Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeit, ein guter Fernseher, ein großes Bett, ein begehbarer Kleiderschrank, ein Bügeleisen und eine Hosenpresse, Internetzugang, u.s.w. Da wir müde waren, nutzen wir den Zimmerservice. Nach 20 Minuten war das Essen da. Hatten ein paar Snacks bestellt und bekamen zwei der besten Gerichte. Ein tolles Omelette mit Pommes und Spaghetti Bolognese mit Brot. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bei unter £5 pro Person. Nun zur Gegend: In der Flughafengegend wird gerade viel gebaut, besonders hinter dem Sheraton. Es stört zwar nicht, man sollte aber informiert sein. Am Flughafen wird ein neues Terminal gebaut und man kann kostenlos parken. Wenn Sie nach hinten hinaus wohnen, sehen Sie das Rollfeld des 747 Cargoterminals . Man kann die Flugzeuge nur leicht hören, man wird aber nicht geweckt, es sei denn, man hat einen leichten Schlaf. WICHTIG: Wenn Sie ein Satellitennavigationssystem haben, wie die Tomtoms, werden Sie falsch zum Hotel navigiert. Folgen Sie einfach den Schildern zum Flughafen, fahren Sie am Terminal vorbei bis zum Kreisverkehr und biegen Sie rechts ab. Dann können Sie das Sheraton auf der linken Seite schon sehen. Ein toller Aufenthalt und wird in vielen Bewertungen unterbewertet.

once we found the hotel,parked up and checked in.we were greeted by yves a nice front desk clerk.made to feel very welcome.were given room cards and had to use these to operate lift.once we got into our room WOW.the standard of the normal room was great.tea and coffee making facilities.good tv,1large comfy bed.a walk in wardrobe,iron and ironing board(a godsend)trouser press,internet access i could go on. as we were tired we ordered room service.twenty minutes as stated for food to arrive.ordered snacks, what arrived were two of the best meals we have ever eaten a great omlette and fries and a spagetti bolognse with rolls .meals were great value at just under £5 each.now about the area, luxembourg airport area is under a great deal of development and that includes the area behind the sheraton.it is not dissruptive but you need to be aware of it.the airport is building a new terminal(see pictures)the parking in the sheraton is free.why can't all hotels do this.if you stay at the back of the hotel you can see the runway and a 747 cargo terminal .you can hear noise of the planes only slightly ,and should not wake you, unless you are an incredible light sleeper. IMPORTANT.if you have a satnav system like the tomtom go series it will direct you to turn to the wrong destination for the hotel.just follow the signs for the airport go past arrivals and departure building upto the roundabout turn right and you will see the sheraton on your left.in all a fantastic stay and not past it,s prime as reported in other reviews.
