You will enjoy the difference of a hotel without the formality and regime of the mass produced chains. An ideal family base to visit local attractions, regular buses and a hotel mini-bus that will transport you free to and from local attractions, great for the children. the children can enjoy an ice cream and sweet pass with free unlimited ice cream. The skittle alleys below are top notch, the hotel is near a main road, but not a busy road, all rooms double glazed and a breakfast buffet that will not disappoint. If you like razzamatazz and glitz and paying top notch for uneccesary frills forget it-however if value, cleanliness, informality and just blend in with the locals is what you want, this is for you. PS I am a hotel Manager in the UK and even I enjoyed this gem of a hotel. With the money you save you can blow it in the biggest shopping mall in Europe minutes away and a day public transport ticket for up to 5 people will only set you back £7.50 for the day! Oberhausen train station is a major terminal, visit Koblenz in just 2 hours and Amsterdam in under 2 hours. Theme Parks Movie Ge is only 15 minutes away, and Phantasia land just over 90 minutes direct by train and a free bus that meets the train. Try the local swimming baths for an experience you will never forget great value at £3.50 for 2 hours. The hotels breakfast buffet at less than £8.50 per person, with kids free will set you up for the day. One of the best packaged breaks ever with flights with Lufthansa who offer business class service for economy fares, and the Parkhotel....Great.... give it a try...

Qui potete godere delle comodità di un albergo senza la formalità ed il regime delle catene alberghiere di massa. È un alloggio familiare ed un punto di partenza ideale per visitare le attrazioni turistiche locali. Degli autobus di linea ed il minibus dell'albergo vi porteranno gratis a tutte le attrazioni locali e vi riporteranno in albergo. È un posto eccellente dove i bambini possono gustarsi un gelato e usufruire di un 'tesserino per i dolci' che permette loro di avere gratuitamente gelato a volontà. Le piste per il gioco dei birilli sono di prim'ordine. L'albergo si trova vicino ad una strada principale, ma non molto trafficata, le camere hanno doppi vetri alle finestre, e la prima colazione a buffet non vi deluderà. Se amate lo strombazzamento e lo sfarzo, e volete pagare un mucchio di soldi per fronzoli inutili, non prendete neanche in considerazione questo posto. Ma se cercate pulizia, informalità e amate mischiarvi alla gente del luogo, quest'albergo fa per voi. P.S.: Sono manager d'albergo in Gran Bretagna ed anch'io ho apprezzato molto questo gioiellino. Con i soldi che risparmiate, potete fare tutte le spese che volete nel più grande centro commerciale d'Europa a solo pochi minuti di distanza dall'albergo. Un abbonamento di un giorno per tutti i trasporti pubblici per un massimo di 5 persone vi costerà soltanto £7.50 (11 euro). La stazione ferroviaria di Oberhausen è un terminal importante, da dove potete raggiungere Koblenz in sole due ore, ed Amsterdam in meno di 2 ore. Il "Theme Movie Park Germany" si trova a soli dieci minuti di distanza, e "Phantasia Land" a solo poco più di 90 minuti di treno e di un autobus gratuito che fa coincidenza con il treno. Provate anche le piscine locali per un'esperienza indimenticabile, molto convenienti a £3.50 (5+ euro) per 2 ore. La prima colazione a buffet dell'albergo, a meno di £8.50 (12.5 euro) a persona e gratis per i bambini, vi permetterà di iniziare bene la giornata. Potrete ottenere uno dei migliori pacchetti turistici se viaggiate con la Lufthansa che offre servizio di "business class" al prezzo della classe economica, insieme al soggiorno al Parkhotel... Un ottimo affare... Provatelo...
