It’s time for renewal, it’s time for innovation, simply put, it’s time for Dreamz.

The new Dreamz concept is based on the familiar family casual dining experience - an ambience in which people of all ages will feel comfortable. It is the ideal family restaurant, featuring a children’s play area so that even the very young will be entertained.

The menu at Dreamz was specially adapted to suit our customers’ tastes, and the hotel has recently added a variety of international and bistro-style dishes to the selection. The scrumptious Piña Colada and refreshing Long Beach Ice Tea are recommended during the cocktail night, held every Thursday.

Nowadays the Apple Park Hotel in Maastricht is an Golden Tulip, before it became that, it was just the Apple Park Hotel. It is situated near the A2 highway, but is not so close to the city centre of Maastricht. You can take the bus, or your car to the centre as a walk would take to much time. There is ample parking space around the hotel and in the area surrounding the hotel are a McDonalds and a gas station. The hotel has it's own restaurant, which looks like an American diner. It used to be an Applebee's by the way. The entrance is large and futuristic looking with friendly check inn staff. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms are meant to be futuristic looking, but that was back in the 90's. Nowadays it looks rather silly and somehow outdated, while it really isn't. The rooms are spaceious en clean, with good beds, a small seating area and a large bathroom with bath and shower. The breakfastbuffet is in the diner-look-a-like restaurant and offers a lot, so you can really eat something here before you go out and visit beautiful Maastricht.

Stayed one night here as a base to sightsee in the Maastricht area. Finding the hotel on arrival into Maastricht by car could not be easier, it's immediately at the end of the highway, next to the football stadium. We didn't walk into the centre but were told by reception it would take 30 minutes. We used the hotel's free minibus shuttle (left every 30 mins and needed to reserve at reception) but this only drops you off in the centre and does not bring you back. We took the local bus from the railway station back to the hotel, the nearest stop being about a 5 minute walk from the hotel entrance. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a reasonable range of breads, cheese, eggs, cereals etc, standard stuff. It was included in the room rate but I don't think it would be worth the €18 separate charge if breakfast is not included in your rate. There is a McDonalds just outside the hotel but we didn't see any other breakfast options nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool room was cool too. A note about the very expensive parking - there is a huge free car park right next to the hotel (for the stadium), so unless you are overly worried about car crime, I would recommend to park there. Otherwise, it's €13.50 to park in the secure area (secure meaning there's a barrier entrance and video cameras present).
