Best Western Wallin Hotel details: On Wallingatan, a side street off Drottninggatan, you will find the quietly situated Best Western Wallin Hotel. Staying close to Stockholm's sights and sounds will ensure you will get the most out of your visit to Stockholm. What's more, you will be only five minutes walk away from Stockholm's Central Station and the Arlanda Express. The hotel expanded during 2005 and now has 180 rooms in various sizes, all well-equipped and cost effective.

Our newest rooms, 21 Superior rooms opened in July 2005, have a magnificent view over inner city Stockholm. The interior design have a classic hotel style in warm colours.
Colours and light are characteristic for the hotel in general, not least the lobby where you can relax in the bar of enjoy a nice dinner in our restaurant. Other hallmarks are the friendly atmosphere and the fact that all rooms are quiet, despite of the hotel's central location.
Adjacent to the hotel is one of Stockholm's largest conference venues, City Conference Centre with 50 meeting rooms for 10 to 1,400 people.

I expected more from Scandic. I've stayed in a few in Helsinki which were great.This one is not great. I do not recommend it as good. My room was very small, despite paying a little more than some of their available rooms what I got as a double bed room had very little more space in the room apart from the bed. My view was poor - 3rd floor still only gets to see the other side of the narrow street and the facing buildings and windows. Breakfast selection was included but was a very limited and unexciting choice menu. Seating for breakfast was again very limited for seating space even for a hotel of this size. Many people struggled to sit and eat whilst I was there during breakfast time. A very good location for city centre shopping in the area. Also handy for some key business locations even in the same street. Easy walkable distance to shopping and the central train station and so less than half an hour from the airport if you grab the express train.

I visit Stockholm as often as possible, I have a daughter and 4 Grandchildren there. The Wallin Best Western Hotel is the place to stay. It has excellent rooms, excellent service etc. they nearly all speak English and even if I am on my own they are more than happy to make your stay wonderful.
