We are regular visitors to Cardiff and when we stay over the Hilton has been our hotel of choice. Decided to try somewhere different and Holland House had such an attractive rate (?84 for deluxe room with breakfast!) thought we'd give it a whirl. We were not disappointed: fab corner room with great views; very clean; huge comfy bed with feather pillows (which I love); friendly, efficient staff and tasty breakfast. Parking was reasonable ?12 - Hilton was ?15 last stay. Next visit - Holland House for us!

I stayed for one night. Didn't try everything as I ate out in Cardiff, and didn't try the spa. Check in was good. Room was on 14th floor with a view over Cardiff centre. Windows weren't that clean though which spoilt the view a little. Room itself was large, modern with iron/board, minibar, big TV etc. Very good room. Breakfast was buffet style and was OK but nothing remarkable. I prefer when they cook to order which I expected at a hotel like this. Underground Car park is ?12 for 24 hours. There is quite a lot of pay and display next to the hotel and after six pm this is free if you want to risk it. Location is good, you are 5 minutes walk to the main shopping/bars. Overall good experience and would definitely stay here again.
