The Sandringham Hotel - Llandudno, United Kingdom     

Booked this through a bookings website at a really good deal of ?25 each, bed & breakfast. Hotel is situated on the quiet West Shore and, although there's no car park, there's plenty of space on the street. There was afriendly welcome. Clean, fairly well appointed rooms - toiletries provided as were coffee, tea, biscuits, etc. There were a couple of irritations. Firstly the cold water pressure in the shower was poor, making it very difficult to get sufficient flow of water at anything less than scaldingly hot. The second minor nuisance was over breakfast, which was included in the price. Orders were taken for drinks and toast and we were directed to the buffet. No mention of cooked breakfast. being available. We assumed, therefore, that our cheap deal only included continental breakfast. It was only, later on, that another member of staff mentioned that the "full fry-up" was included in the price. She did offer to get us one when we explained. But, by then, we were full.

Much better than expected. Great staff, great breakfast. Very spacious rooms with an ocean view. Beautiful, peaceful location. Great oceanfront patio. Would definately go again.
