We were this beautiful area to attend two shows in the fantastic and intimate music and arts venue called The Stables.org - who recommended the Moore Place. We were very happy we chose to stay here for 3 nights, for an exceptional weekend rate of only 65 pounds (B&B /room /night) - an absolute bargain in the UK! Our room in the main building was nice and comfortable with an excellent queen size bed, perfectly clean with a near to brand new bathroom and everything one should expect in a hotel of this class. No lift, but the stairs to the second floor were fine for us - though they could do with a touch of paint. English breakfast was (except for the scrambled eggs that are made from egg liquid but it said so on the breakfast menu - so we should have been warned ..) absolutely superbe, and served by a very nice team of friendly people. As is the staff in general: friendly, welcoming, helpful, very well-mannered and professional. Free parking, nice lounge where we enjoyed great sandwiches and tea, a nice bar that could do with a thorough room re-styling, nice garden. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we had dinner twice in The Stables (very cheap but excellent - thanks Jim & Ladies!) and once down the road in the Swan in Woburn Sands, where Alison went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful evening there, too. All in all we can only be positive about the Moore Place and recommend it highly. Just tell the staff what you want or expect and you'll be very happy to stay there too!

We stayed with a group of 10 friends for the night The good: Polite staff and good service, great food, our room was very clearn and spacious, hotel looks lovely as does the surrounding village, apple parking, free wifi The OK: Other peoples rooms were a little small, other than the bar there was not a nice lounge area to meet in. Had a TV but no channels worth watching, ended up watching cbeebies using my laptop on the free wireless internet The Bad: room extras were not clearly priced, staff are not always the best communicators
