"The Chaise" really went the extra mile for us.In the past we have stayed with family, but with 3 kids it's a lot to ask, this was also the case with all other accomodation that I rang round. John at the chaise, phoned other guests and moved their rooms, to make the family room available to us.when we wanted to extend the stay he did the same again. It may not be flash. You'll find no laminate floors and sunken lighting here BUT, what you will find is a welcome. If you have children you will never feel that they are a nuisance because they are treated with genuine warmth. At breakfast our 2 yr olds sausage came ready cut up for him, and what a breakfast. You really do get as much as you want. From the top floor we looked out over the sea, what a fantastic view. My husband got to take our 5 yr old to his first footy match because "The Chaise" got them tickets. It's the first place i've stayed where the host has come out to the car to say goodbye. so you won't get flower arrangements, and slippers. What you will get is comfort, good company, and hosts that will put themselves out for you and your children.

The Chaise isn't a posh place, in fact it's a bit shabby, but you are right on the beach and you couldn't ask for a warmer welcome. Our rooms were a good size, the baths and toilets clean and the beds comfortable. If you want a decent place at a decent price it would be worth a try.
