Du Casino - Paris, France 

We too, cannot understand how some of the reviews are so flattering of this hotel! we found it to be very small, dark, dingy, very oppresive, noisy, smelly and not at all clean. Finger marks all over the toilet door. Toilet smelt strongly of urine. Staff could barely communicate in English and some not very welcoming. Their directions in how to get to our destination had us going the longer version. Our neighbours down the extremely narrow hall, were smoking their heads off and this continually permeated into our room. The hotel was always stifling with temperatures being set on what seemed like constantly "hot" and if we opened our window we could not hear anything due to the outside noise. The TV reception was also really awful. Couldn't wait to get out of there - so depressing! Went and stayed at a place that was only 1 star greater but miles better for a little more cost.

We just came back from a nice stay in Paris. We want to share with others the very good experience we had in this cosy and very agreable Hotel du Casino. The location is very good. The rooms were very confortable, the service and personal very agreable and specially careful to our needs. It really is a place to recommend. Actually we got the address from friends who also enjoyed there stay there.
