What Travellers Like
- When traveling, I always request a room overlooking the courtyard or interior of the building because I'm a light sleeper. I followed up my reservation with a phone call, specifying once again that I would be arriving late in the evening, but I would like a courtyard room. When I arrived, all courtyard rooms were taken. I went down the street, found a quiet room at the hotel Saint Paul, for 120 euros (including breakfast) and reserved it. Not surprisingly, the hotel receptionist insisted that I pay for the night there, even though they had not come through with the room I'd requested.. Read review
