Lunik - Prague, Czech Republic     

We stayed here because the Claris Hotel had “technical difficulties” with their online booking and were overbooked. They arranged for us to stay at the Hotel Lunik, and I am glad they did. The Lunik is in a great location, near the metro, trams, and shops but on a quiet side street. They were in the process of remodeling when we were there and the improvements looked good. Our room was clean, pleasant, but not luxurious. Americans should be aware that their “double” is really two single beds pushed together, with separate linens, and nothing to bridge the gap. The breakfast was good but not special: cereal, bread, cheese, yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, and pastries. We appreciated having a computer in the lobby which we could use to check email or do trip research on the web. One man was using the computer to upload pictures off his camera so he didn’t run out of space on his memory card.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits à l'hotel Lunik (week-end du 1 au 4 nov. 2007) et avons apprécié la proximité de l'hotel avec le centre ville (10-15 min. à pied de la place Venceslas), l'accueil, les lits très confortables, les chambres bien disposées et décorées avec bon goût, et la rue très calme. Idéal pour un week-end à 2!
