Prima Lepic - Paris, France
Prima Lepic address: 29, rue Lepic, Paris, 75018
Prima Lepic details: With its decor of a garden in bloom, the Hotel Prima Lepic is like a spring posy in the middle of old Montmartre! Trompe-l'oeil frescoes, old master paintings, copies of park benches... everything here, just a few steps from Place du Tertre and a short walk from Sacré-Coeur, mirrors this old, picturesque part of Paris which has remained a village with its vines, its little squares and its artists who so lovingly put it on canvas. The secret charm of a hotel in Monmartre with 38 guest rooms and apartments, all perfectly appointed.

The hotel was very nice charming hotel located in Montmartre. Very convienient to 2 Metros stations (Abbesses and Blanche) which made it very easy to get around the city. The room was of above avereage size for european hotels in a large city and both the room and the bathroom were very clean. Also the room recieved the attention of the housekeeper everyday (which has not been the norm in europe).
The only problems were these 1. the room has no mini fridge 2. the room were given was flooded by light all night long.
My suggestion for people considering staying at Prima Lepic is to request a room away from the street or bring night shades. Also not to plan on being able to keep food items or drinks cold in your room.
Otherwise we throughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would stay there again....away from the street.

We had 2 really pretty rooms 115 & 215--Amelie Poulain Superieur--front facing with windows/balcony overlooking street--but not noisy! May be noisy in high season as lively street/market
Did not have 10 euro b'fast in hotel as nearby area is full of cafes, restaurants and bars--we loved rue des Abbesses, & also ate at le Basilic--very near -as delayed first night, but all seem good--dont know about real "tourist traps" in place du Tertre though. Le Poulbot also good--very small! Best to book?
Staff very friendy/helpful, but we felt really ripped off by the taxi that hotel reception booked to take us back to Cd G airport--it cost 78 euros--when we had only paid 48 to get to hotel from the airport 2 days before! I know it was Sunday--but that spoilt our stay! Best to go up to place du Tertre & get price at taxi rank there!!!!
