Galileo - Paris, France     

It was a godsend for me. I had a very bad experience in the subway in Paris at my arrival,followed by a appartment rental where I could not stay for many reasons. I will write another post about it later,once I gather my thoughts. I had a book about hotels in Paris and with the help of a friend we located Hotel Galileo in the book which seemed a perfect location for someone who had been through a terrible ordeal. I booked for one night,because at the time I had no intention to stay in Paris any longer, I just wanted to go back home. I was having a breakdown. So, after one night and talking to one of the night staff at the hotel, I was convinced to give a chance to Paris, with his help I booked some tours and I stayed there for five days. They made my stay pleasant,comfortable and I felt secure which for me was very important. I gained back my confidence and was given all necessary instructions for my errands here and there. I would recommand this hotel to anyone who travels alone or with others,the staff was courteous and attentive to all my needs and was able to calm me down after a bad experience. It was my life-saver in the storm.

Very good value for the great location - very near Champs Elysees! Room was ok size, free wifi, clean toilet and bedroom. The only negative thing is that it isn't a romantic setting and I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for ambience. But really, great value.
