"Great Location"

The room was tiny (7ft wide) and there is no elevator, but we couldn't have asked for a better location. Just two blocks to the Moulin Rouge, a few blocks to the Sacre Coeur, two blocks to a tube, two blocks to a bus stop, Open Bus Tour Stop, grocery store, etc. Right outside the front door is cafe after cafe, bakeries, souvenier stands, newspaper stands, fruit stands, etc. etc. etc. We could have spent the entire vacation on that one street. lol The staff were all very friendly and spoke perfect English. They even arranged for a very inexpensive shuttle bus to take us to the airport at 6am. The room was very clean but the bed was a little lumpy and the towels smelled a little odd. Other than that, it was great. Breakfast was croissants, french bread and coffee. Not bad but you can get better at any of the cafes right outside the front door.

A perfect little spot in the heart of Montmartre! Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The shower room was made for tiny people, but was clean and the shower was great. The staff were helpful and friendly. I couldn't recommend this little place highly enough - it's great value and has a top notch location.

The Comfort Inn Sacre Coeur is a small hotel in the Monmarte district. Two metro stops are close by and it's located on Rue de Abasses which is lined with numerous shops, patiseries and cafes. The staff is very friendly they speak English and very always helpful. The only drawback to this hotel is that there is no lift so it's not recommended if you have lots of luggage or heavy luggage or if you have any physical disabilities that preclude stair climbing. The rooms are not air conditioned but the windows can all be opened for fresh air. With the windows closed the rooms are very quiet, but the street below can be quite noisy so if you're looking for quiet or solitude this hotel may not be for you in the summer. I stayed in a single room (twin bed) and by all standards this room is small and the bath contains only a very small shower. Continental breakfast is available and consists of coffee, orange juice and croissants. My Parisian collegues could not believe that I was able to stay in such a nice hotel for such a small tariff. I would definately stay here again and might even bring my wife here next time as I really liked the area.
