De la Ville - Sorrento, Italy     

Stayed at the Grand hotel de ville from 2nd of may -9th may,an i must say that the overall experience of our stay here was very good,on arrival my girlfriend and i were greeted by very friendly reception staff,it was also notied how clean and shiny the reception area was. (an if you visit the hotel you will see what i mean !). we were given room 512 which to our delight must have the best view from the hotel overlooking the bay/naples and of course mount vesuvius,our room had a lovely 32" sony lcd television which was nice,the bathroom was lovely and clean with a hairdryer, bath/shower, although the shower could have done with a bit more power.Maid service was everyday which was good. Having booked half board,we had breakfast and evening meal at the hotel and although we didnt eat here every night,the night's that we did the food was excellent and the staff really really friendly,both with the adults and with our young niece...they really could'nt do enough. One piece of advise i would give to all the drinkers out there is that the hotel's bar is expensive as we found out when we were handed our room bill for the week......ouch ! ha. If i were to return to sorrento i would certainly not hesitate staying at the Grand de ville again..
