The BEST WESTERN Folkestone Opera offers a breakfast you will enjoy with a delicious buffet featuring homemade pastries for 13.00 EUR. We have a bar and lounge, fax and photocopy services and laundry and valet services. The rooms are only for one or two persons. No cribs or rollaway are possible. At the BEST WESTERN Folkestone Opera there is a large choice of metro and bus stops.
Breakfast was exceptional (juice, coffee, pastries, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cakes, etc. Hotel was spotless and maintained by very friendly cleaning staff. Bought a Carte Orange (good for unlimited rides on subway and buses from Monday through Sunday for just over 15 euros). The BEST thing that this hotel had were the shutters on the room's windows. No noise, no light, just peace and quiet. I was lucky to get a 93 euro rate for a room with twin beds. The same room is 170 euro for the summer of 2006 so I may stay elsewhere, but if the price is right, the location is perfect!. Read review

I found that the rooms facing the back are quieter as you do not hear the street noise. The girls at the front desk are not specially friendly or welcoming but they'll do their job. Breakfast is 10euros and pretty good: eggs, ham, french pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt, etc.. Read review

This is a great easy to find , 3 star hotel with breakfast provided in a very central location. Also around the corner is an english pub, and two nice coffee shops. This is the perfect location to chill and wander round the shops on Boulevard de Grand Magasins (or road of the big shops). The hotel itself is clean with aircon and off a main road so quiet at night with no early morning binmen! The room is just like the picture shows, double bed, minibar, tv and ensuite.. Read review

This is a small hotel, located in a quiet street (between Madeleine and Grand Boulevards), which contains five or six restaurants, two grocery shops, a bakery and a beauty salon. Our room was on the sixth floor and had a nice terrace with flowers. Although the room and the bathroom were small (which I understand is very common for Paris), they were well appointed and had all the necessary facilities. The lady at the front desk (Chantal was on leave and I believe the lady’s name is Maryline (the smiling face that you can see in the hotel’s website) was very helpful and polite and spoke English very well. We would definitely stay in this hotel again (in fact, we plan to go there again in January) but this time I will ask for a bigger room.. Read review

Probably the cleanest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Don't shy away from the metro-- it's very handy from this hotel, and be sure and purchase the one day pass to Versaille which includes your train cost.. Read review

Our room (103) was massive - I've stayed in Paris hotel rooms smaller than the bed! Furniture was a mix of dark wood and painted reproduction right down to the mini bar, the ceiling - even the bathroom - had lovely dark beams and, if you're an adventurous type, one whole wall opposite the bed was mirror! Despite being on the street and opposite the lift, we didn't hear a sound. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.
Conveniently located, close to Madeleine metro, and an easy walk from the Opera Garnier which means you can get the Roissybus to and from CDG airport which is much cheaper than a taxi. The room was small but not cramped (especially for Paris! The receptionist when we checked in was very helpful and spoke good english, although the receptionist on the other shift and check out could have been more helpful. Our rate didn't include breakfast however there are two boulangeries in the street, and Fauchon (google it) just around the corner near the Madeleine does awesome pastries and good (although a bit expensive) coffee.
