The hotel is small and cozy with quaintly furnished sitting room off the lobby. Our room (could sleep 5 which is unusual to find in Europe) was spacious and included a sitting room. The bath was large and modern, and the daily service was exceptional. Very friendly and knowledgable front desk staff. Breakfast prices seemed steep, so we did not partake. Free wireless internet only available in the lobby drawing room if using your own computer. Would have liked this feature in our own room as was our experience in Spain and Italy. But that is really the only down side. The location was close to the Eiffel Tower and Napolean's tomb , and we found the Rue Cler neighborhood lively and interesting.
We stayed in the double room superior and it was wonderful. Very spacious and the bathroom was huge for a european bathroom. It was great! The hotel is one street from the Eiffel Tower...a very short walk. Plus the metro entrance is right at the corner beneath a very convenient parking lot. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Our rooms were very spacious for 2 travelers (per room). We stayed in rooms 203 & 104 where the bathrooms were very clean & roomy. We were very pleased with the hotel service, Xavier & Julie were extremely helpful and kind, not to mention they both spoke English. The hotel is in a great location, able to walk to the Eiffel Tower & cafes without difficulty. We would highly recommend the Hotel de la Bourdonnais & would return there for another holiday stay.
We loved this hotel especially the close proximity to the Eiffel Tower. We could see almost half of the tower from our hotel room - we had room 401. Fantastic view of the tower at night and very quiet. Bathroom was modern and very clean. We also loved the decor including the chandelier. Too bad, we only spent one night at this hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and request the same room.
