Hotel Claude Bernard Saint-Germain - Paris, France     

Das ruhige Zi. ,das ich gebucht hatte, war ein dunkles Zi. zum Hof auf die nächste Hauswand hin. Ich konnte zur Straßenseite wechseln. Die Wände zwischen den Zimmern erwiesen sich als hauchdünn, man hörte jedes (!) Geräusch. Gottseidank waren nur Einzelreisende in den Zi.. Nachmittags wurde im Hotel über Stunden gehämmert und gebohrt, das Zi. wurde auch erst gegen 15.00 Uhr und nur auf meinen Wunsch gemacht. Der Eigentümer hatte überhaupt kein Verständnis für meine Kritik: eine Baustelle sei eine Baustelle und ein Hotel ein Hotel. Wenig empfehlenswert für Reisende, die das Hotelzimmer auch tagsüber nutzen möchten. Frühstück zudem für das Angebot viel zu teuer.

We stayed for three nights in August 2007 with our three children. I thought I had booked a quintuple, but the reservations showed a quad- We had a very large bright room with a double, and two singles. The bathroom appeared to be recently rennovated athough the toilet seat broke and there were two lights out. The breakfast was terrific in the morning, including eggs with a cooker to soft-boil them, cereal, toast and croissants. The location was wonderful- walking distance to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. The hotel staff was great in transportation suggestions as well as resturant ideas. They were helpful letting us store our stoller and car seats on the first floor instead of lugging up to the room. I would definitely stay there again.
