The hotel is placed in one of the safest areas of Athens near the Concert Hall and the U.S. embassy with many cafes and restaurants nearby. The Acropolis, the shopping center and the Syntagma square are a 25 minutes walk from the hotel. Though you can use the bus (1minute walk, Mavili station) or the Subway (4 minutes walk, Megaro moussikis station), you will really enjoy walking on one of the safest and best preserved Avenues in Greece (Vassilisis Sofias) were some of the most important structures, monuments and Museums are located. The hotel although it is difficult to locate it at first, once found you realise it is in an excellent location. The staff greet you in a beautiful decorated lobby. The rooms are above average in size although they do have a slight smell of smoke about them, could do with better airing out. The breakfast is to die for, It caters for everyone's taste. Internet is available but at a hefty fee of 6 Euro a half an hour. Oh and don't bother trying to find a restaurant in the evening - the nicest dinner we had in our whole trip away was in the hotel restaurant. All in all I would recommend this to anyone.

Good hotel - even if a bit difficult to find after arriving on the metro. Very good rooms and facilities. Ample buffet breakfast. Nice view of an old Orthodox chapel if you are overlooking the driveway. Just beneath Lycabettus Hill. If you are considering fast food - consider Goody's just a corner away for some delicious baguettes with feta, kalamata olives, tomatoes and olive oil!
