We had a really enjoyable stay - 5 nights. The staff were very welcoming and provided an excellent service. Our comfort room was clean and well furnished and was quiet. It also had a very nice bathroom- modern and functional. The hotel is in a delightful setting - lovely Boulevard - and only a short walk to the beach (5 min) and into the old town. Breakfast was fine. Would certainly be happy to stay there again and recommend to friends.
Overall, a very good experience. The booking process went very smoothly. The hotel has an excellent location, good facilities, clean and quiet rooms, and friendly competent staff. We would strongly recommend the hotel and Venere to others wanting a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Nice. The only small complaint is that the breakfast seems expensive.
Nice hotel. Clean room. Clean bathroom.
Close to beach. Fridge did not work.
A bit expensive. Triple room smallish but adequate. Would stay here again and would reccommend to others. Good for European standards.
Booked "privilège" room, meaning a superior room. Webpages indicated a room with nice city views and a balcony. Surely, there was a nice balcony with a great city view, but the room itself was dark, as the only window faced the back and side walls of the integrated balcony -- no natural light. It could just as well have been located in the basement. The room was poorly furnished, e.g. no desk lamp, no sitting chair for all that extra "superior" space, no table, and a ghastly, huge black cabinet which was locked (used for housekeeping storage?). So get a regular room or make sure to inquire about the exact "privilege" room you are getting.
