Hotel Relais Acropolis - Nice, France

Ideal hotel for conventions (like my case)at the Acropolis centre. Many restaurants in the sorroundings and at only 10 min of walk from the city centre.

The hotel was OK for the price, particularly because it was during an exhibition, which tends to push prices up anyway. The room was small but clean. The bed was poor, having a thin mattress and pillows which were not up to the job. The shower was great - German quality and power. Staff were competent. I did not have the breakfast, since the cafes in the area were definitely cheaper for breakfast. Nice is expensive, particularly since the £ v Euro is against right now. I probably would not stay there again but for 2 days, at short notice, it was acceptable.

ist time to stay in the hotel. We were given a smoking room and the whole room stank for days!!! One night receptionist was not very helpful when I asked for an adaptor for my mobile. He made me feel like I was bothering him!

You cannot find a better location if you have to attend a conference at the Acropolis Congress Center. But rooms are noisy because of the outside traffic.

It's not a real 3 stars, not even a good 2 stars. For pluging my laptop I had to "deplug" the TV. No other source of eletricity! I would say it's a good ONE star hotel.
