4.910 mins walk from railway station and town and short walk to nearest bus stop and beach front. Set back from the road it can be a bit tricky to find the first time, set half way along Avenue des Fleurs, then up a small lane. Amongst a quiet, well maintained residential area Very secure with coded entry gates and doors, pretty, well maintained outside area with fruit trees for relaxing or eating breakfast. Owner was very friendly and welcoming, and spoke great English. It is obvious there is still some work to do on the renovation of this fabulous period French Villa but the original features are lovely. The rooms were large, and very very clean with Juliette balconys and shutters and small t.v. (only 1 English channel - CNN), I asked for(and had) a room overlooking the garden area. Excellent service, delicious, plentiful breakfast in bed or on patio everyday 7am - 11am, cleaners were unobtrusive but everyday we came back to our room we had fresh, immaculate bedlinen and towels and an extremely clean bedroom and shower room. My only complaint would be that breakfast is the only meal served but there are hundreds of restaurants locally and a supermarket 2 minutes away to stock up on snacks. I would highly recommend this hotel, and hope to go back again in the future. Compared to other hotels in this expensive area of France, I was surprised at the high standard of accommodation for a very reasonable price.
